Although we are currently unable to produce live work on stage due to the COVID-19 pandemic, we are committed to bringing you the best in comedy through our series of Show And Tell Live and Show And Tell at home online streams.

Below we’ve shared answers to our most frequently asked questions to help you out with the booking and streaming process. If the problem you are experiencing is not covered, you can email us at and we’ll do our best to help you.


How do I purchase a ticket?

Each show is individually ticketed, and you’ll need to register a unique user account on our streaming platform. Click ‘Book Tickets’ or ‘Buy / Watch’ on the event page, then you’ll need to log in or sign up. It’ll only take a minute, once you’ve signed up with an email address and password, you can proceed to make your purchase. Then all you need to do is return to webpage to watch the show shortly before the advertised start time.

Do I get a receipt?

Upon payment, your receipt/invoice will be automatically sent to the email address you used to make your account and payment.

If you don’t see the receipt in your Inbox, make sure to check your Spam and Trash folders.

If you don’t receive it, please let us know by emailing, so we can check the payment has gone through and can send you all the information you’ll need to access the content.

I’m having issues paying for my stream. What should I do?

If you are experiencing any payment issues, please email Tell us which show you’re trying to purchase, any error message you have received (including screenshots where appropriate) and we’ll be in touch as soon as we can to try and help you.

I’m struggling to register. How do I proceed?

Nine times out of ten, this is because an ad or pop-up blocker in the settings on your device is preventing you moving forward (sometimes these are on by default so you might not even know it was enabled.) Try turning off the blocker temporarily while you register. Or try a different browser and see if you can register there (you can always come back to your preferred browser later on.)

I’m having trouble logging in.

Make sure you are using the same email and password you set up during registration and payment. This will be the email on which you’ve received the registration and/or payment confirmation. If you are sure you are using the correct email, try resetting your password. See How do I reset my password? below for help.

How do I reset my password?

Click on the content you want to watch.
On the Login screen, click Forgot password?.
Enter your email and click RESET.
Make sure you enter the correct email.
A new window will pop up. Leave it open.
Check your email. You will receive a password reset token. If you don’t see it in your Inbox, make sure to check your Spam and Trash folders.
Enter the token in the first field of the window that popped up previously.
Enter your new password in the second and third field.
Click SET.

How do I change my account’s email?

You can’t change your account’s email once you’ve registered, but we can still help you out if you’ve purchased a ticket and would like to log in with another email address. Just send an email to and we’ll be able to help you to set up a new account without having to pay again for the content.


Please ensure your cookies are enabled. This means you can register an account and stay logged in so, when you return to the page, it will remember your details and you can start watching straight away.


How do I watch?

If you’ve already purchased a ticket, just return to the same webpage where you made the purchase. If you are not already logged in, click on the button at the top right of the screen, and log in using the email and password you’ve set up during purchase / registration.

If you haven’t purchased a ticket yet, go to the event webpage, click on ‘Book Tickets’ and then click ‘Buy / Watch’ in the new window or tab. Then you’ll need to log in or sign up, and proceed to make your purchase.

If you have problems viewing the content, please try these simple steps to rectify the issue:

Refresh your browser page.
Clear your browser’s cache and cookies. Here is how to do it.
Access the website via private/incognito mode. Here is how to do it.
Restart your computer or device.
Try using a different browser (Chrome, Mozilla, Safari, Edge etc.).
Try using a different device.
Make sure you are not using a VPN.
Try using a different network like another WiFi connection, 4G or a Hotspot.

The streaming quality is bad.

If you are having trouble with the stream quality, please try all of the above steps as well as the following:

Disconnect all other devices connected to your network and disable all background applications currently running in order to increase your connection speed.
Restart your router.
Restart your device.

I want to watch it on my TV. How can I do that?

There’s a few workarounds that you can try to stream the shows on your Smart TV but please NOTE: the stream you are watching is not created for display on a very large screen, so you might notice the HD quality is slightly reduced.

On a Mac, it is possible to play content on an external display when using a wired connection (HDMI) for both Safari and Chrome. This works as long as the HDMI connection allows HDCP to be detected.

Also on a Mac, it is possible to screen mirror or Airplay to an Apple TV using Chrome, but not using Safari currently, so please use Chrome instead. This works in both screen mirror and extend display modes.

On Windows you can likewise use an external display with a wired connection as long as the connection allows HDCP to be detected. Some wireless screen mirroring might work on some browsers too.

Why does the film keep buffering?

We recommend a sustained broadband internet connection of at least 3Mbps. Please test your speed here

If you’re on an iPhone, iPad or Android device, you may experience a lagging effect or out of sync sound. We recommend watching on laptop or desktop for the best experience.

Can I download a show and watch offline?

Our films are streamed via the internet, not downloaded to your device, so you’ll need a constant internet connection to watch. This means you cannot watch our shows offline.
