Following pre-pandemic, award-winning, sell-out runs at the Edinburgh Festival Fringe, Adelaide Fringe and Soho Theatre, the Sh!ts are back…
The *only* theatre show with crowdsurfing, free beer, an actual dog and a tonne of 5 star reviews returns!
With their trademark blend of storytelling, songs and DIY video journalism, Becca and Louise (AKA Sh!t Theatre) recount the time they were lured out to an exotic island, only to find dark secrets beneath the happy surface.
From the makers of cult hits DollyWould, Letters to Windsor House, Women’s Hour and many more, here it is: another excuse for the (two-time) Fringe First, Total Theatre and Arches Brick award-winning performance duo to get drunk on stage.
Presented by Show And Tell in association with Soho Theatre. Co-commissioned by South Street. Original version commissioned by Charlie Cauchi for Valletta ECC.
Directurg by Adam Brace. Photography by Bronwen Sharp. Art Direction by Studio Doug.
‘Political theatre at its most raucous; funny, furious, daft and anarchic… the company’s best yet’
‘Political theatre that is true, and hilarious, and horrifying’
‘A hilarious then ferocious account of a trip to Malta… [A] vivid, punky tour-de-force in which Sh!t Theatre’s natural larkiness comes served with shots of pure anger’
Time Out London
‘A delightful, riotous mess’
London Evening Standard
‘Even in the midst of grimness, [Rebecca] Biscuit and [Louise] Mothersole can raise a laugh… And somewhere in all the anarchy, there is space for the audience to join the dots between a roaring drunk [Oliver] Reed and their desperate dance to the death to the sound of the angry sea’
