The venue will be implementing a range of safety measures including stewarding, one-way systems, enhanced cleaning and hygiene measures.
We are selling individual tickets to each event, you can purchase multiple tickets but should only attend with people within your household or those in your social bubble. In the auditorium, each 1m section can hold 2 people, you are welcome to book in groups of up to 6 people, but please be aware that you will be seated in groups of 2, with 1m gaps between each section.
Latest Government Guidance on Transport
For those attending it is advised to walk, cycle or drive where possible. If travelling by public transport, please comply with the travel operators rules regarding face coverings. More information on how to get to BOAT, as well as details of taxi firms and local parking information can be found on their website here.
Doors will open at around 5.30pm (for the 6.30pm show) and 8pm (for the 8.30pm show). We advise arriving early so you can grab a drink, find a good spot and get comfortable.
Staggered Queueing System for Entry
There are lines painted on the path outside the theatre, stretching up to Dyke Road. Upon entry, you’ll be asked for your name and checked off a list. There is also a staggered queue for the bar (card payments only).
We recommend wearing face masks or coverings wherever possible, out of respect for your fellow audience members. This is based on latest HM Government COVID-19 advice, which is subject to change in the lead up to event. If guidance changes before the event, we will update this section.
Socially Distanced Seating
There are marked out 1m sections across the seating banks in the auditorium. Upon arrival, you will be guided to a seat by a member of staff, based on the size of your party. Each 1m section can hold 2 people and there will always be a 1m gap between your group and the group next to you. Please respect the social distancing guidelines by remaining within your designated area whilst enjoying the show.
Please sit on the front half of the wooden sleeper, to allow other people to pass behind you. Please note, the sections are marked out using chalk spray, which may rub off on your clothes, but is entirely harmless and brushes straight off.
There will be hand sanitiser available at various points across the theatre, including at entry and at the bar.
Payments at the bar and for tickets on the door are by card only.
There will be a one-way system in operation – to exit for the toilet, please follow the signs. The exit gate is different to the main entry gate and a volunteer will be positioned to direct you to the toilets. Please re-enter the theatre via the original, main entrance gate. You will be given a password to gain re-entry.
Please Be Patient
Queueing for entry or the bar may take a little longer than usual as we try to keep everyone safe, please be patient with the staff and volunteers and obey instructions at all times. Exiting the venue may also take a little longer than usual, so please bear this in mind when planning your journey.
Shows will take place rain or shine, so please dress appropriately for the weather, and bring something dry to sit on if needed. Small personal umbrellas are allowable, please be mindful of those sat behind you if using an umbrella.
Thank you, we hope you enjoy the show!
