Street Team Members required for the Edinburgh Festival Fringe 2022

At Show And Tell we produce high quality comedy and this year we are bringing a number of shows to the Edinburgh Festival Fringe. We work with some of the best alternative artists, comedians and theatre companies in the UK such as Sara Pascoe, Nina Conti, Simon Munnery and more, and a host of international artists including Chris Redd, Fortune Feimster, Mary Beth Barone, Jacqueline Novak and more.

We are looking to hire people to join our street team to work for the first 12 days of the Fringe (August 3rd – 14th inclusive), for a few hours per day.

Duties are to expertly flyer our range of comedy shows, previous experience in arts/street promotion is preferred, as is knowledge of the Fringe. The position is suited to someone who already has plans to be at the Fringe, working or performing, or is Edinburgh-based, as we cannot provide accommodation.

Job Specification

– Must be friendly and outgoing, able to strike up a conversation with Fringe-goers

– Must be able to talk knowledgeably and enthusiastically about our shows to a wide range of people

– Must have a keen interest in comedy

– Previous flyering, arts marketing or promotional experience is preferred.


Working from August 3rd – 14th

Min. 1 hour / Max. 4 hours per day

£12 per hour

Technical Operator – Edinburgh Festival Fringe 2022

We are looking for show technicians to operate various comedy shows at the Edinburgh Festival Fringe 2022. The role requires the handling of the get in and get out each day, as well as operating AV, SX and LX during the show.

Job Specification

– Previous technical operating experience is essential.

– Must be competent on digital Lighting desks.

– Experience of Keynote and Power Point is required.

– SX experience including operating Qlab, setting up microphones and setting sound levels is essential.

– The successful candidate must work well under pressure and be a conscientious worker.


Edinburgh Festival Fringe – Pleasance Courtyard

Working from August 1st – 28th 2022.

Times: 8pm – 9.45pm (show runs 8.30-9.30pm, you’ll be needed 30 mins before and 15 mins after)

Fee: £20 per show (plus a fee for the technical rehearsal).
