‘One of the most tirelessly silly stalwarts of the Fringe’ (Time Out), SIMON MUNNERY, provides tales of plumbing woes, his attempts at under tent heating and ridicules the insanity of capitalism. A work in progress towards his latest hour of stand-up.
JORDAN BROOKES previews his new hour Body Of Work: ‘In 2015, Gwendoline Brookes died, aged 95. This is a genuine attempt to pay tribute to her.’ That can’t be the whole thing can it? I thought Brookes did absurdist stuff? Like, bits that go on for ages and horrible physical stuff, daft faces, spitting down himself etc? Is he just going to talk about his Nan for an hour? Surely not.
‘Munnery is as bold and brilliant as ever’
‘A breathtaking, hugely original hour’
